Barry Krauss

NFL Top Defensive Linebacker

Dynamic public speaker/presenter, former professional athlete, Barry Krauss is seeking to expose his humorous and entertaining experiences on stage or podium near you. Master of ceremonies, auctioneer, keynote speaker, you name it; he knows how to create the ultimate experience for any audience.

Barry played for the legendary Paul “Bear” Bryant at the University of Alabama and won the 1978 National Football Championship. He was the central figure in the “Goal Line Stand” in the 1979 Sugar Bowl against Penn State, a play ESPN.com voted as one of the greatest college football bowl games and one of the greatest football plays of all time.

Chosen as the first round pick by the Baltimore Colts in the 1979 NFL draft, he played 10 years for the Colts organization in Baltimore and Indianapolis, and ultimately retired after playing for one of his childhood heroes; Don Shula with the Miami Dolphins.

A defining moment is a watershed experience that shapes a person's life. Defining moments determine destinies. They reveal our true identity and character. Defining moments turn out to be monumental decisions, events, or days that change the course or direction of a person's life forever. They are defining moments because of their impact, their consequences are so great, or because the wrong decision carries a high price tag.
