Roy Ellis Moody, M.Ed.
Keynote Speaker, Humorist & Seminar Leader Roy Ellis Moody, M.Ed., uniquely combines expert coaching skills with lessons learned from his rural upbringing. This combination makes him one of the most motivating and inspiring speakers and seminar leaders available today. As owner of Roy Moody & Associates, he facilitates people in creating passion for their work and igniting natural teamwork - whether that is in a trade association or a Fortune 500 company. Roy grew up on a small family farm in Alabama, and it was there he learned the invaluable skills of cooperation, teamwork and producing results while keeping a sense of humor. He participated in high school and college athletics and went on to coach championship basketball teams. It was in his capacity as a winning coach and later as an association executive that he fine-tuned his abilities to coach, develop and lead groups of people. In the past 20 years, Roy has traveled coast-to-coast presenting keynote speeches and seminars for more than 350,000 people. He has a humorous way of presenting important information that leaves people passionate and ready to take action. His credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Alabama’s Troy State University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. He has given presentations to state and national conventions, major corporations including IBM and Mobil Corporation, and hundreds of professional associations. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Roy is an active community leader. He is a member of the Albuquerque Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and is past President of the Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque.
