Roger Radley continues to be a rousing and energetic opening act for nationally touring acts.He has appeared on stage over the years with – The Charlie Daniels Band, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Paula Poundstone, B.B. King, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Richard Jenni, and many, many more.

Roger Radley has performed over 4500 shows in his comedy career and has the experience and chops to reach any audience, any time, anywhere. From a group of rural volunteer firemen or the National Guard or former NFL players to management staff for a Fortune 500 company he can draw upon his vast array of material to make every show a success.

Roger Radley was born and raised on a small farm in Wisconsin and at an early age realized a career in agriculture was not for him. After high school this former class president and honor student attended college at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Majoring in pre-law studies and criminal justice. Roger graduated in three and a half years and was accepted into law school. Returning home to the family farm during a critical family health crisis Roger put law school on the back burner.

It was during this time that Roger realized that he may not be suited to be a lawyer. For the next 12 years Roger worked as a Group Home Coordinator for autistic and developmentally disabled youth and then as a Vocational Counselor providing evaluations, job training and community placement for adults.

A meeting with a co-worker led Roger to be involved with a comedy group where he honed his skills as a performer and writer. After five years performing, writing and directing sketch comedy Roger quit his “day job” and went into comedy full-time. Within a short time Roger won a regional comedy contest and decided to try others.

He won the American Dream World finals in Atlantic City in a competition against over 400 comedians from all over the United States. Bookings for corporate and business associations continued, along with self-produced shows at smaller theaters and similar venues. Touring with Willie Nelson and talking backstage with the likes of B.B. King and the late Johnny Cash are fondly remembered by the one time farm boy who secretly dreamed of becoming a comedian after watching Jonathan Winters improvise on the Tonight Show.

Roger Radley continues to stay close to his rural roots as he tours the country. When he is not performing or writing he spends his time outdoors as much as possible- canoeing, camping and fishing in Canada and his beloved Wisconsin-while taking every opportunity to indulge his green thumb in his expansive gardens.
