The flavor and feeling of the original performance, combining state of the art electronics with vintage instruments to transcend the quality of the original recordings.

The ROCKERFELLERS can create a performance that's right for any occasion, and can handle room sizes from clubs up to the largest auditorium.  We guarantee to leave your dancing feet sore, and give you that "old time rock and roll" at a price you can afford.

The five members of The ROCKERFELLERS include 4 vocalists, and all five are multi-instrumentalists.  Each member is a veteran of many years performing with such Midwest legends as WHALE, the ELASTIC BAND, and COCOON.  Our full instrumentation consists of two guitars, multiple keyboards, bass, drums, and saxophone.

We do justice to a wide variety of songs and artists with our quality instruments and strong vocals, backed with extensive performing experience.

The ROCKERFELLERS are based in Lincoln, Nebraska, and are available within a day’s drive.  Let’s get together and discuss making your next bash one that people talk about for years to come.

The Band:

Steve Devoe chose to play drums because he found them easy to play while singing, his first musical love. His passion for music has led him to recording and sound reinforcement along with constant involvement with different Midwest rock bands, and is a veteran of the legendary WHALE. Steve is especially attracted to the oldies of the 60s and 70s and loves seeing an audience dance and enjoy the music.

Steve Leech has found the guitar to be an important creative outlet over the years. His extensive repertoire of songs ranges from rock classics through the modern. Also a veteran of WHALE, he has played in numerous rock bands in the Midwest and takes pride in his ability to duplicate the lead work of the rock guitar greats.

John Deeds has been performing classic rock and roll since 1972 when he co-founded BENEDICTUS,  which later morphed into the (New) ELASTIC BAND. In the 80’s John performed with Beatrice, NE based JOKER SHOW BAND, a 50’s “greaser” act. More recently John has appeared with SPLIT DECISION, LOST COZZ, and HEARTBREAK FATTY.  John plays keyboards, sax, miscellaneous percussion, and sings lead and harmony vocals.

Scott Richardson  is no stranger to Rock and Roll.  He has been performing in music in some fashion over the last 30 years.  Scott starting in the classic rock band “High Voltage” in junior high school and has had one foot in rock music ever since.  Other bands of note include Blackberry Winter, The Reloaders, Bakersfield, and the Fabulous Suns.  His high energy approach to playing classic rock & roll ensure that a “good time is had by all.”  Scott plays bass and sings lead and backing vocals.

Steve Koch  says: “I was born in a log cabin to poor carpetbaggers in Mississippi…sorry, that was a guy named Presley whom I served with in the Army in Germany…”

1966-69: guitar, sax and vocals for The New Society, later known as The Midwest Projection, a show band from Deshler, NE doing R & B and Top 40

1970-74: flew a desk for the USAF and awarded a Purple Finger for paper cuts above the call of duty
1976-79 or so: guitarist for Whale
1979-81: sound tech for Footloose, a country rock band from Lincoln, NE
1980s to present: guitarist and vocalist for The Rockerfellers
