I derive the most value from inspiring others to their full potential in life and business. I devote my time to coaching people and consulting companies on how to improve their business and their personal lives, as I view these two to be interconnected. I am also myself in the practice of being coached by professional business and life coaches and derive great value from this process.  My work is to inspire, teach and motivate others through sharing my story of success and loss and I how I found meaning and offering practical tools that can improve all facets of their lives and businesses.

My mission in life is to have a positive impact on as many lives as possible by empowering others to help themselves.
In order to actualize this mission I decided to offer my key note addresses, half and full day seminars and consulting, which I have been regularly conducting as President/owner of my own companies for almost twenty years, and teaching a wide variety of skills to businesses and organizations across the United States.

MY STORY, THE RISE AND FALL OF A MAN AND A BUSINESS AND THE LESSONS THAT RESULTED IN GROWTH AND HOPE: This is a keynote address on the story of my childhood, building my business, the failure of my business and the lessons and practical tools that I have learned through the process.  The audience will leave with lessons and practical tools that can be employed to improve their life and their business.  I recommend this as the topic for you to choose if this is the first time I have spoken to your group.  It is very powerful.
 
LIFE PLANNING: This is a full day seminar on the creation of plan for your life.  It is an honest assessment of where the most important areas (spouse/significant other, kids, career, hobbies, health, religion etc…) of your life are today, where you envision them to be in 1, 5, 10 & 20 years and the practical steps and action plans that must be employed to accomplish your vision in each area.  The audience will leave with a complete Life Plan which will ready them to create a personal and business vision and a business plan.  This day can be life changing.
 
TIME AND PRIORITY MANAGEMENT: This is a key note address with a variety of practical tools designed to help the audience make better use of their time, understand how to manage their time and how to teach others to improve their time management.  The audience will leave with a new outlook on time management and what they and their co-workers should be doing to manage their time to increase business and optimize their work/life balance.
 
THE IMPORTANCE & PRACTICE OF SELF AWARENESS: This is a key note address with a variety of practical tools to help raise awareness of what we are saying and doing and how it affects other people.  This keynote has a series of excellent tools for the audience to make immediate improvement in their relationships at home and at work.
 
CREATING A BUSINESS VISION: This is either a keynote or a half day seminar on how to create a 1, 5, 10 and 20 year vision for your business.  The audience will leave with a completed vision on what their business will look like in 1,5,10 and 20 years and the exact steps needed to accomplish their vision.
BUSINESS PLANNING: This is a keynote or full day seminar on creating a business plan.  This is similar to the Life Planning process but it is focused on the success of your business.  The audience will leave with tools on how to complete their business plan (keynote) or a completed business plan (full day seminar) that will ready them to implement it on their next business day.
 
ABUNDANCE VERSUS SCARCITY (STRESS FREE SELLING): This is a keynote on how much more enriched your life and business will be if you give without expectation of getting something in return.  Give, give, give and you shall receive.  The audience will leave with clear answers as to why sharing their knowledge, expertise and tools with others will enhance their lives and their businesses beyond where they would have gone with a scarce mindset.
 
FINDING AND CREATING YOUR PERSONAL MISSION/PURPOSE: This is a keynote on discovering your purpose in life and the primary reason for you being on Earth.  The audience will leave with the tools to create their own purpose and how to teach other to find and create their purpose.
 
STRATEGIC INITIATIVES: This is a keynote or full day interactive seminar on identifying, writing and prioritizing the key initiatives for your life and/or business during the next 12 months.  The audience will leave with a specific plan on what will be done, who will do it and when each step will be completed.
 
CREATING & MAINTAINING A POSITIVE CORPORATE CULTURE: This is a keynote on how to create a company where the culture is warm, inviting, exciting and fun.  As John Maxwell writes, “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.”  People don’t work for companies, they work for other people.  Whether you manage one person or 10,000, this keynote address will give you ideas and tools to improve your corporate culture forever.  Most people don’t leave their jobs because of money.  They leave because of who they work for and the corporate culture they work in.  The audience will leave with ideas and tools to improve the corporate culture and create a workplace where employees want to come.  It will increase a company’s ability to retain their current employees and recruit new ones.
 
THE FOUR STAGE OF COMPETENCE: A keynote on the power of moving from incompetence to competence.  This is a great teaching tool for any group.  We will travel through the 4 stages of competence and increase our awareness to master areas of our business and our lives where we are totally ignorant.  The audience will leave with increased awareness on how to move from knowing that they don’t know about something to knowing why they do know about something.  This can be very powerful.
 
HOW TO PLAN AND LEAD EFFICIENT & EFFECTIVE MEETINGS: This is a keynote on how to improve business and/or family meetings.  Many of us dislike attending meetings and derive little benefit from them.  This keynote will provide you with practical and specific tools on how to improve the quality and likeability of your meetings.  How much better would the focus, participation and accountability of your business meetings be if the attendees look forward to the meetings instead of dreading them?  The audience will leave with practical tools and ideas on how to plan, run and communicate in all types of business and/or family meetings.
 
DATA BASE CREATION AND MANAGEMENT: This keynote provides practical tools and ideas for you to stay in frequent touch with your clients, referral sources and vendors.  Having a viable data base which you utilize to its fullest extent is a “must have” in today’s business climate.  If you aren’t reaching your clients and referral sources on a regular basis then your competition is.  The audience will leave with practical tools and ideas on how to organize their data base, how and what to market to it, how often to contact their data base and through what forms of communication (phone, email, snail mail, advertising) should be used.
 
RECRUITING & RETENTION OF SALES AND SUPPORT STAFF: This keynote will aid any business and its business leaders in its quest to retain current employees and recruit new employees.  Why do employees stay at companies and why do employees decide to join companies?  We will explore these questions and provide practical tools to aid in keeping the people you have and attracting new people to your organization.  The audience will leave with practical tools and an understanding of specific behaviors needed to recruit and retain.
 
NON-NEGOTIABLE DAILY DISCIPLINES: This keynote will aid any business and/or individual in bringing added discipline and consistency to their lives.  There are certain things that MUST be done on a daily basis.  We will also springboard into weekly, monthly and yearly non-negotiable disciplines in our time together.  The audience will leave with a very focused set of guidelines they can implement in order to create more discipline in their lives, in their business or for their company.
 
GETTING TO KNOW YOUR CUSTOMERS: This keynote is based on the premise that people do business with people they like and trust.  We will provide you with a template of questions that you can use to get to know the needs and wants and likes and dislikes of your customers and referral sources on a personal and business level.  The audience will have a greater awareness on what specific questions to ask during meetings with customers and referral sources and how to use the answers they receive to deepen the relationships.
 
HIGH PAYOFF VERSUS LOW PAYOFF ACTIVITIES:  This keynote is focused on what you should be doing with your time and what someone else should be doing on your behalf.  We will analyze the value of your time and what you want to do with your time.  We will spend time on the “100% question” which is, “If you could spend 100% of your time doing what brings the most value and revenue to your business and what you enjoy doing most in your business, how much happier, productive and successful would you be?.”  The audience will leave with clear and practical tools that will enable them to separate the tasks they perform from the tasks that will or should be performed by others.  We will also discuss implementation and maintenance of these activities.
 
KEYS TO SUSTAINING YOUR DISCIPLINES: This keynote focuses on how to keep the disciplines in your life and business on track and how to ensure that what must be done gets done.  This involves accountability and consistency which we will dive into at length during our time together.  The audience will leave with a new and greater understanding of how to stay on track and how to get back on track if you veer off.
 
THE CHAMPIONS WAY:  This keynote focuses on the “way” in which we do things compared to how the most successful people do the same things.  We will map out clear and attainable “ways” to improve your efficiency, effectiveness and your revenue through examining “your way” and how to improve those behaviors.  The audience will leave with practical and reliable tools to enable them to improve the way they operate their daily business and life.
 
EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP: This keynote is centered on what makes leaders great.  Why do people choose to follow some and not others?  What are the traits that all great leaders possess?  Is leadership innate or can it be taught? We will delve into and answer these questions in discovering that we all have the ability to lead.  The audience will leave with a greater understanding of how great leaders think and act and how they can improve their leadership skills.
 
THE KEYS TO HIGH TRUST SELLING ARE TRUST & LIKEABILITY:  This keynote is centered on why customers buy from some salespeople and not others.  Do your customers know and like you on a deep level?  Do they trust that you have their best interest at heart?  We will explore these questions and provide answers that will enable you to increase sales and deepen relationships with your clients and referral sources.  The audience will leave with a greater understanding and practical tools that will enable them to improve their revenues immediately.
 
PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS:  This keynote was created because of a need to improve the “heart” part of evaluating employees.  We will discuss how the “360” can help your organization and how evaluations should be performed on the employees who are below and above you on the organizational chart.  The audience will leave with a greater confidence and eagerness to schedule and meet with their employees to evaluate their performance in a way that everyone leaves happy and inspired about the future.

My name is Robert Trematerra and I have been an employee of Daryl’s for many years. I’m writing this letter to share firsthand what I have experienced while working for Daryl. Not too long after starting with his mortgage company, he sent the office an invitation to hear a motivational Speaker.  I have to tell you, this was not my idea of a good time. All I thought about was how this was a huge waste of time when we could be making money. I started asking around the office and all anyone could tell me was to go. As the event grew closer and closer a buzz started to take over the office as if the Queen bee was going to do something really big. I remember the day of the event. It was like 500+ kids were going to Disneyland. I didn’t get it but I was going anyway. In the grand ballroom a big stage was set with lights, cameras, screens the works. Daryl was on stage to introduce the guest speaker. When Daryl took the mic, you could hear a pin drop and he began to speak. For about 5 minutes I witnessed something amazing. How one man could stand up on stage and thank his people from the heart. He truly cared about his employees and we all knew it. Now, for the life of me, I could not tell you who the guest speaker was that day, but that was the day my life changed.
 
As time went on, I got to know Daryl. I found out that his passion in life was to inspire, to teach and lead with the highest level of integrity. I was learning something new from him almost every day and he was paying me to do it. I started to feel guilty so I asked him why, why do you help others to become better? He answered, because I enjoy it. There is no better feeling than to help others succeed.
 
A few months later we had another company event. This time it was going to be different, Daryl was the keynote speaker.  I was thinking this was going to be difficult. The Mortgage Market started to take a turn for the worse and moral was down. Daryl had to stand in front of 500+ people and try to pull them up. This time I got a great seat, I wanted to see and hear everything he had to say. I wanted to know how Daryl was going to fix the Mortgage crisis we were in. When Daryl took the floor, he didn’t talk about the market. He talked about us, as a company and as individuals. Not about the business, but about our everyday lives. I wanted to send you a quick thank you note for all of your efforts in regards to our Life Planning day this past Tuesday at the Estate. For the first time in a long while, I had the ability to put some deep thought into my life and my key accounts. While I have obviously always been thinking about these accounts, it was the first time that I was able to put all outside stresses aside and spend a few uninterrupted hours writing my life plan.
