10 years of entertaining audiences all over the United States, the Carl
Acuff Jr. show is one of the most dynamic high-energy
performances
you'll ever see. Carl has been called the "hardest working white man in
show business today", and after seeing his show you'll understand
why.
After working several
years in the
theaters and theme parks of the Branson, Missouri area, Carl noticed a
need in the many cities of this great nation for the kind of
wholesome
family entertainment that he had so long been a part of. As it
turns
out Carl was right. Along with a group of versatile entertainers,
Carl has traveled 42 states and works over 300 days annually performing
for thousands of people.
This kind of determination finally caught
the eye of Something Else Records A & R department in late 1999.
By mid-2000 Carl had his 1st national release with his CD "You're
In Love With The Wrong Man" and then again in the fall with a Christmas
CD entitled "All I Want For Christmas Is You".
Carl has also been nominated for
several prestigious awards such as Entertainer of the Year, Songwriter
of the Year, and Country and Western Traditional Artist of the Year
on the CMAA Indie Label awards show in Nashville.
Some of Carl's career
highlights
include: opening shows for Steve Warner, Freddie Hart, and Razzy
Bailey. Headliner at
the Grand Casino, Tunica; The Dakota Sioux Casino, Watertown, SD;
The
Miss Marquette Casino, Marquette, IA; The Tanner Amphitheater, St.
George,
UT; along with working for many RV rallies, corporate functions, and
of
course, many fairs, festivals, and night clubs throughout the US.
